International Students – Eligibility to work in the UK: Wednesday 28th February, 5-6pm
This session will cover the regulations concerning the ‘right to work’ in the UK. All non-UK students are welcome to attend this event including undergraduates in any year of study, taught postgraduates and postgraduate researchers.

Asia Careers Fair (Online): 5th-9th March 2018
Are you an international student from Asia? Want to access placement and graduate opportunities in your home country? Then sign up to the Online Asia Careers Fair!
During the week of the fair, you’ll be able to view opportunities from over 30 employers based across Asia from a variety of industries, including business, finance, engineering, journalism and law. You can watch presentations and network using the live and video chat functions.

International Students – English language issues in applications: Monday 12th March, 1-2pm
Writing CVs, Covering Letters and Applications in a second language is not easy. But if you are applying for jobs in the UK it is very important that the standard of your English Language is good and your applications are free of errors. Come along to this session, run by the Careers Service, to find out about the typical mistakes that international students make and how to avoid them.

Learn how to use the tools and support available to you to ensure that your applications are well written and effective.

All non-UK students are welcome to attend this event including undergraduates in any year of study, taught postgraduates and postgraduate researchers.
