Are you looking to improve your teaching skills whilst enhancing your understanding of skills such as coding and computer programming?
The University of Sheffield’s Enactus team is looking for volunteers for the end of January and start of February to run coding programming and web design classes for 8-10 weeks. This will be on a weekly basis and will be around 2 hours per session.
This is a social enterprise project to help autistic people find employment where otherwise they would struggle; therefore by volunteering your time, you will also gain the satisfaction of helping those with autism.
Full training and full teaching content will be provided to all volunteers.
This is a fantastic opportunity to add computer programming to your CV; it will allow you to develop technology skills that are transferable, highly recognised by employers and very relevant considering the digital age we are in today.
It will enhance your communicative ability, leadership skills and organisational skills and as an additional bonus it is recognisable for your HEAR record.
Previous experience with Python computer software is required however any degree discipline is accepted.
