The final submission deadline for a place in our 2017 cohort is Wednesday 10 May 2017.

Teach First is ranked third in the Times Top 100 list of Graduate Employers, and our Leadership Development Programme is world-class, combining global best practice in leadership development and teacher training. Our programme is renowned for developing some of the most successful leaders in both education and business. If you can inspire in the classroom, you can bring resilience, efficiency and imagination to any environment, no matter where your career takes you.

During our two year, salaried programme you’ll gain a fully-funded Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE), worth double the credits of a PGCE, to become a qualified teacher. You’ll also acquire the key skills and personal qualities needed to develop you into an effective leader – someone who can make a real impact.

The inequalities in our education system are most acute in science, technology, engineering and maths, and 62% of students eligible for free school meals fail to achieve a science GCSE at grade A* – C. By joining our LDP, you can use your passion for science to inspire these pupils to achieve their full potential.

Over 10,000 people have joined the LDP so far. Many have remained in the classroom and many others are working in leadership roles across all sectors of the economy. We partner with leading organisations in the UK such as Rolls Royce, Network Rail, Tata Steel, Accenture, Goldman Sachs, PwC and the Royal Navy, who recognise the value of the skills and experience our participants get on the programme.

Don’t miss out on this career-defining opportunity. We have a recruitment team in place to help you to submit the strongest application you can. To make sure you have enough time to speak to one of our recruiters before submitting your application, open your application by Sunday 7 May 2017 and one of our team will be in touch.
