Who are we?
Caterpillar’s legacy of industry leadership dates back to 1925. We have a global footprint with product in more than 180 countries. Our engine systems control air and fuel delivery with millisecond precision to maximise
performance and minimise exhaust emissions. Our integrated machine systems control all
aspects of construction machine operation (engine, transmission, hydraulic systems), provide the human-machine interface (operator controls and information displays), and constantly monitor and communicate position, operation, diagnostic and prognostic information to enable machine automation, improved productivity and enhanced serviceability.

experienced engineers, gaining exposure to system specifications, embedded software design and development, control system modelling and analysis, component selection and validation, system level development and validation, product health analysis or quality issue resolution.
Our placement students can expect to return to University with further developed technical skills and experience of how University learning is applied to the work place. We also have a conditional offer process in place for our top performing placement students, giving you the opportunity to start your career with us on a permanent basis upon graduation.
