Sheffield Students’ Union is proud to announce its second Re-imagine Education Conference, taking place on Friday 22 April.
Join us for an exciting programme of free talks, workshops and panel discussions offering students and staff the opportunity to explore what excellent learning looks like, and challenge traditional models and narratives.
The day will run from 10.30 – 17.30 and includes complimentary lunch.
Attendance for sessions is flexible – come to just one, or to the whole day
The full, finalised programme will be released shortly but is set to include sessions from academics, external speakers and the Students’ Union on topics including: sustainability in the curriculum, liberating education, attainment gaps in Higher Education, and how we make students real co-producers of knowledge.
We’re also pleased to announce that the University’s Pro Vice-Chancellor for Learning & Teaching will be speaking on the panel for our discussion event, which takes place during the day.
There’ll be the chance to find out more about the University’s soon-to-be-released new Learning & Teaching Strategy and the ‘Academic Life’ theme within the Students’ Union’s Strategic Plan.
Keep a look out for our soup seminar and craftivism space too.
Register here to express your interest in attending and for further information on the programme shortly.
