Did you know that we’re always adding projects to Sheffield Volunteering? So even if you haven’t seen a project that takes your fancy, keep taking a look at the webpages to see what’s coming up;

Give and Gain
Stocksbridge Leisure Centre is opening its new pool and Sheffield Futures need your help to get it ready! This is a fun, one-day volunteering event to paint the pool and put up Christmas Decorations in time for opening!

The event is taking place this Thursday (24th November). This is a great chance to give something back in this one-day volunteering event.
Transport, food and fun provided!

Computer Volunteer
Broomhall Homework Club aim to provide extra support to young people (Year 5 and above) with their homework. The majority of attendees are from the Broomhall area.

The Broomhall Homework club is looking for a volunteer IT worker. The principle role is to provide computer support during the running of the Homework Club.

Volunteers will troubleshoot computing problems.Configure the computers to allow different groups to have different, and secure, usernames and files.Applicantmust have ave a good working knowledge of Office programs, be able to move material between program.

Doncaster 1914-18
Doncaster 1914 -18 is a community heritage project commemorating the centenary of the First World War.

Volunteers will support Doncaster 1914-18 in delivering high-quality family community events and fun & interactive education programmes.

All volunteers receive training  and an induction to enable them to carry out their roles with confidence.  There is also the option to attend additional training sessions to broaden your knowledge.

59th Cub Pack – Sheffield Cub Leader

Help out with the general running of a Cub Pack. Volunteers will get involved with the planning and running of different cub scouts activities. Just a couple of hours a week on a Wednesday evening.

Help and guidance through different leader modules to become a fully qualified leader with a Wood Badge
