Volunteers are needed to help decorate Christmas stockings for a local women’s refuge charity.
These stockings will then be filled with gifts and given to the children staying in refuge centres.
Please pop in to the volunteering office to sign up to this project.
We’re open 10am – 5pm, Monday to Friday.
Sheffield Futures is an large independent local charity who are currently recruiting volunteers to help out with their ‘XTRA Push’ programme.
XTRA Push is designed for young people promoting the four C’s; Control, Commitment, Challenge and Confidence. This project aims to give young people a chance to seize opportunities, build resilience and motivate positive change.
Volunteers will work with small groups of young people aged 14-17. Volunteers will help run a range of fun activities for the participants.

A new treasurer is required to manage accounts in this thriving branch in a role that involves attending meetings once a month and managing the on-line accounts system.
The Multiple Sclerosis society has a full range of face-to face training for all its roles in place. these take place regularly and on-line training and support systems are also available

Community Youth Club Volunteer
Volunteers are needed to work in Youth Centres listening to and supporting young people, encouraging them to join activities and diverting them from antisocial behaviour.
Volunteers will work in youth clubs engaging with young people, encouraging them to take part in a range of activities, encouraging positive and social emotional development, and supporting the club generally.
