Postgraduate Research in Engineering – 18th November

Final years – have you started to think about what you would like to do once you graduate? Have you considered PhD study as a career option, here in Sheffield?
On Wednesday 18th November, between 1.30-3.30pm, the Faculty of Engineering Graduate School is hosting an informal drop in session, in the Ideas Space (Sir Robert Hadfield Building)  to showcase the exciting research opportunities available in the Faculty’s Departments. We will show you innovative research and world-class facilities, that you may never have even realised existed, right on your own doorstep!In addition, the University hosts more than a dozen EPSRC-funded Centres for Doctoral Training (CDTs),  with several of them based in Engineering. No idea what they are? Come and find out! They offer four-year cohort-based training and research opportunities focused on major engineering challenges; talented individuals have the opportunity to undertake innovative and exciting training programmes that address global challenges facing society. This is PhD study with a difference!
